I had recently found a bucket list my best friend & I created together a couple of years ago. We actually made 2- one was for things we wanted to accomplish before we turned 25 and the second was things we wanted to accomplish before we turned 30.
We accomplished barely any of it.
Not because we haven't been doing anything these past couple of years, but because our bucket lists were quite excessive. I mean, we really thought that we'd make a ton of money after college & could afford trips and outings all the time!
I haven't made a bucket list since then, but I feel like I need to! We've been spending so much more time creating memories instead of giving gifts which is my favorite thing, but I've been thinking it's time to make a new bucket list so I can make sure I'm actually doing all the things I want to!
Here are the top 3 things I want to check off in the next 5 years (that I can actually achieve):
-Head to Nashville for a week
-Go to the Opera (I went to the ballet for the first time this year!)
What are 3 (achievable) things you want to accomplish in the next 5 years?
We are just on a roll lately with adding new products to our online store! And we do that for you! We've been doing party items for a few years now, but hadn't quite decided if we would put them all up on the store yet. Finally, after multiple requests- everything is up!
We've added our invitations, thank you cards, photo booth props, goodie bags, table tents & favor tags! These are all in addition to your customized banners, centerpieces & cupcake toppers!
What is most exciting is the party packages! The pre selected packages range from small to large parties and you are going to save a TON! These are the perfect choices if you want to order a good chunk of your party decorations from us!
So how does ordering from us work?
It's pretty simple! You choose what you want- whether it's one of our packages or individual decorations. From there, we'll reach out to you s be sure to leave us your best contact information (preferably email). When we reach out to you- we're going to ask things like, who are we celebrating? Do you have a theme? What colors are we looking to do?
From there, we're going to work step by step to create the best decorations! If you're ordering invites and/or thank you cards- we'll send 2-4 proofs to choose from. We'll also ask you all the details of the party- so be sure you're ready with that info so we can get it on the invites!
If you see photos of decorations you've liked- send them to us! We'll get inspired by the things you love!
We do require you to order your invites at least one month prior to when you want them sent out.
Everything else, we do need a few weeks- one month prior to the party is a great time frame so we can get everything done for you without compromising quality.
We hope you choose to do your party with us! We love making parties special & unique!
Every year, my mom bakes these amazing holiday cookies. No joke, these cookies are unreal & I'm proud to say I'm the official taste tester year after year!
After she bakes these delicious cookies, she then plates them on normally these adorable plates & gives them as gifts. She even takes orders around the holidays so she always has to make sure her presentation of these cookies is impeccable. So this year, I decided that I should be responsible for making these adorable plates!
I had so much fun designing not only winter & Christmas plates; but I also decided that creating Thanksgiving plates would be so much fun too! I already have people asking when they can buy them because they can't wait to give them out as gifts all holiday season & that makes be beyond excited!
So, I'm very happy to say that you can officially purchase your holiday plates! And don't forget- if there's a different design you want to purchase- use our create your own design option!
One pot pastas have quickly turned into one of my favorite, go to meals! They're beyond easy & they're very cost effective. There are tons of recipes out there for one pot pastas, but I'm going to tell you more about a basic recipe that you can use with what you have on hand.
I call this a dump meal! You can use any veggies you have on hand- it's perfect for the time where if you don't use them, you'll have to throw them away. What's also great is that many grocery stores will sell discounted veggies that they just need to move off the shelf. They're at a great price & are often already chopped up. Just double check that they look good & plan on using them sooner rather than later.
With this particular case, I purchased the veggies at the store that they wanted off the shelf. I spent only $3.5o on a bunch of veggies that made it into this meal & a veggie stir fry I made in the same night! So lets get started!
What you need:
-First things first! Chop up your veggies. I like to chop mine on the smaller side that way I know they're cooking all the way through.
-Next, put the pasta, your veggies (including the garlic & onion), the water & salt and pepper into the pot. Be sure to actually measure the water, that's very important!
-Turn on your stove to medium-high heat, uncovered. I mix occasionally.
-When the water starts to boil, turn the heat down to low, and let it simmer for 10-12 minutes.
You'll notice that the water will be absorbing into the pasta & the veggies and that is exactly what you want!
-When it's done simmering- just take a quick taste to make sure the pasta is cooked through.
-Then, add your cream, cheese & salt and pepper to taste. Mix so that it's all in
-I always then cover the pot for about 5 minutes- it gives the pasta some bonus time to absorb all the juices & flavor.
-Then serve & enjoy!
I hope you enjoy this "dump meal" & experiment with the different ingredients! Share with us your favorite combos!
One of my favorite things about owning my own business is the flexibility I have as well as being able to creatively expand whenever I want. I love it when friends, family or clients ask if I can do something new, or give me an idea of what they're looking for & I can create something!
The past was wedding craziness for so many of my friends so I got the opportunity to create lots of new products! And it dawned on me, I was so excited to make them & simply go to the weddings that I didn't even put them up on the store!
So to change that, I've created some new listings & a whole new category that has all of our lovey dovey items in one easy place! There are so many fun new things to choose from. And as always- every item can be customized & personalized for each couple! Can't go wrong with that!
To celebrate, we're doing 15% off any wedding
