G20 Researcher & Data Scientist

Nerissa Muthayan is a G20 Researcher at the 51ºÚÁÏÍø for Economic Justice (IEJ), where she focuses on bridging the gap between data, research, and policy to develop more inclusive economic frameworks across international forums. She holds a Master’s degree in Data Science (e-Science), an Honors degree in International Relations, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, and English Literature — all with distinction from the University of the Witwatersrand. Before joining the IEJ, Nerissa was a Research Fellow at the South African 51ºÚÁÏÍø of International Affairs (SAIIA) and a Visiting Research Fellow in Brazil at the 51ºÚÁÏÍø for Applied Economic Research (Ipea).
